Cross-country skiing
Around 240 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski tracks are waiting in the Valle Isarco alone – the choice is yours.
Around 25 cross-country ski tracks with a total length of 240 km wind their way through the snow-covered Valle Isarco in winter. Four of them with a total length of approximately 24 km are located in Bressanone and the Plose ski resort. The 8-km long Palmschoß-Passo del Erbe cross-country ski track starts at the Schnatzergraben car park. A 5-km long cross-country ski track in the Kreuztal valley starts at the Gasthof Geisler inn. Luson boasts as 7.5-km long and absolutely worthwhile circular cross-country ski track as well as the Pezzè circular cross-country ski track in Hinterlüsen, which is even illuminated every Wednesday evening.
All cross-country ski tracks are situated in a beautiful landscape and snow and top-maintenance are guaranteed. It only takes 15 to 30 minutes by car from Naz to reach 12 cross-country ski tracks of different lengths and levels of difficulty in the Maranza-Monte Cuzzo alpine pasture region, around Bressanone and its holiday villages, around Chiusa and the Dolomiti di Valle Isarco and the Val di Funes. Most of the cross-country tracks are also designed as winter hiking trails.
